Here you can find answers to your questions regarding iPeeWell Uroflowmeter: FAQ – frequently asked questions and troubleshooting.
The device does not work!
- Check if you have turned on the device.
- Use a new USB power adapter (2 amperes capable recommended) / full powerbank (test, some so not work).
- Turn the Uroflowmeter device off and on again. Close and restart the application.
- In the event of RF interference from other devices, it is recommended that you try the following: use the Uroflowmeter in another location; increase the distance between other equipment and Uroflowmeter; consult with the seller or consult a radio/TV specialist.
- Carefully read the chapter on installing the device and the chapter on warnings.
The suggested measurements make no sense!
- Check if the device is correctly installed (base, horizontal, location) and correctly calibrated.
- Check that there are no surrounding disturbing factors that would interfere with the measurements.
- Do not touch the device during the measurement.
The program cannot find the device!
- Check if you have turned on the device.
- Check whether the mobile smart device or PC itself (without our application active) is already connected/paired with the Uroflowmeter device. Remove the bluetooth bond in the operating system.
- Check your power management settings (in Windows): USB power management: Windows can put USB devices to sleep to save power. Disable USB Selective Termination Settings: Go to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Power Options -> Change Plan Settings -> Change Advanced Power Settings. Find USB Settings -> USB Selective Termination Setting and set it to Disabled.
- The memory of the Windows operating system can become saturated and the bluetooth module starts working incorrectly. Restart your computer.
- Certain bluetooth modules are not able to connect to the iPeeWell Uroflowmeter. If your module reports the RSSI value as a positive number, it most likely will not work with the uroflowmeter. Try replacing it / turning it off and using another one. iPeeWell offers USB bluetooth adapters that work with our devices.
The device has changed color!
Due to the properties of the biodegradable material, enclosure changes color slightly when exposed to UV rays. It is a natural phenomenon. Discoloration is best known for the white case, which can turn yellow.
Invalid measurement.
- If the measurement is very short, the program will report that the measurement is invalid. If you still want to display short measurements, increase the waiting time after micturition.
- Turn off the device for 10 seconds.
- If both did not work, perform calibration.

The app reported ERROR 1.
The device controls its operation. Applications report errors to the user. ERROR 1: The data is still being processed after the measurement has been made and is not ready for transfer. The request must be repeated.
The app reported ERROR 2.
The device controls its operation. Applications report errors to the user. ERROR 2: This error can occur: if the power supply is defective or insufficient, if there is a failure of the measuring cell or the wire connection to it, and if there is a failure of the analog-to-digital converter. In this case, replace the power source first. We recommend a more powerful power supply that allows currents up to 2A. After changing the power supply, repeat the calibration first. If the error still occurs, the device will need to be serviced.
The app reported ERROR 3.
The device controls its operation. Applications report errors to the user. ERROR 3: No measurement data. This occurs if there is no new measurement data, but its processing and transfer is required.
The app reported ERROR 4.
The device controls its operation. Applications report errors to the user. ERROR 4: The reported weight is over the limit. A data transfer error occurred. The data transfer request must be repeated.
The app reported ERROR 5.
The device controls its operation. Applications report errors to the user. ERROR 5: The measured weight is over the limit. An overload has occurred. The device will no longer work reliably! Device service is required!
