Frequently asked questions
Does ScreenText Pro upload my screenshots?
No. The core screen OCR workflow runs locally on Windows OCR. Normal captures are not sent to a cloud OCR service.
Can I use it before activating a license?
The app opens in Tier 0 so you can access Settings, About and Licence. OCR features unlock after activation.
What happens if I copy the license file to another PC?
The license token is bound to the computer ID. If copied to another PC, it is rejected and the app returns to Tier 0.
Which Windows version do I need?
ScreenText Pro is a Windows-first desktop app using local Windows OCR. Test the final installer on your target Windows version before rollout.
