iPeeWell Uroflowmeter HOME

The iPeeWell Uroflowmeter (model: IUFM1) is a medical device of the Im class according to the EU MDR, intended for non-invasive measurement of urine volume, urination time, flows and other urination parameters.
It shows the functioning of the lower urinary tract. The device itself does not make diagnoses. It is intended to detect deviations in the way of urination, which may indicate a possible medical condition and thus warn the user that they can seek medical care in time. It is also helpful in keeping urination diaries.
The medical device is intended for use by medical personnel in health care institutions (urologist, uro-gynecologist, family doctor, other medical personnel trained in uroflowmetry) and/or lay people (men, women and children under parental supervision) in the home environment. With the use and more measurements in the home environment, the interpretation of the results can be more accurate and the treatment more effective when the results are used as an additional tool in diagnostics by urologists and uro-gynecologists. The device is used in the home environment: when the user has problems with urination; when he wants to monitor the condition of the urinary tract during the use of certain medications or after surgery; and for preventive purposes.
The device works together with an application for smart devices (phones, tablets) or PCs, which serves to display reports. The app is not required for basic security or essential device functionality. It is intended exclusively for indoor use. Not for implantation or oral use.
The measuring range of the device is up to 1000ml, exceeding the overload limit (the maximum total weight is 1500g – 150%F·S) can permanently damage it if, for example, the collection jug along with the urine is too heavy. During use, it is necessary to pay attention to the warnings of the application and the instructions that users must strictly follow, as improper use endangers the user’s safety, data reliability and the operation of the device.
The device itself does not make a diagnosis, only indirectly indicates the presence and severity of problems with urination.
